Last week I only had one (double) lesson as I was out of town most of the week at Milliman’s Health Consultants Forum in Austin.

This past week (Sep 30) was a busy week! Monday included a lesson, Wednesday morning was the filming of our introduction video for the event, Wednesday afternoon was a coaching session, and Friday concluded with another lesson. Lots of dancing for this guy!!

The week of September 23 was a big learning week! I largely have the routine memorized at this point, I just am not very good at dancing it yet!

The remaining part of the choreography is now complete!

After a week break from my last lesson, and what I thought was some solid practice memorizing the choreography, we began what Alexis called “real dancing.”

Yesterday I had a double lesson (about 90 minutes) and it was exhausting!

I had my first real dance lesson on Wednesday! So far so good.

Tuesday night’s “lesson” was great! It was a ton of fun and involved none of my dancing :)

…and off we go! I had my first dance lesson on Friday 8/30.
